How to: Notebook to TV Wirelessly

A wireless HDMI adapter facilitates connecting your notebook computer to a television wirelessly. Other than the wireless connection, one of the greatest benefits of a notebook to television link via HDMI adapter is screen size. All display and audio content from your notebook transfers to your television seamlessly, and the HDMI setup is a straight-forward process. Other than the wireless adapter, you need a notebook with wireless HDMI capability. Notebooks with the “Intel WiDi Wireless Display” logo work with wireless HDMI adapters.


Instruction 

1. Position the HDMI wireless adapter without obstruction between it and the notebook.

2. Insert the HDMI cable in the HDMI port of the HDMI wireless adaptor.

3. Insert the other end of the HDMI cable in the HDMI port of the television. Make sure the television channel is set to the proper HDMI input on the television.

4. Power up the HDMI wireless adapter.

5. Press the Intel Wireless Display button on your notebook. Click “I Agree to the Terms and Conditions” on the pop-up menu on your notebook display.

6. Click “Connect” on the “Connected adaptor” dialog box on you notebook display.

7. Enter the four-digit security code that appears in the television screen on your notebook’s keyboard.

8. Click “Continue.” Click “Allow Access” if you receive a Windows firewall message on your notebook.

9. Name your wireless adapter on the “Rename Adaptor” dialog box on your notebook display.

10. Click “Continue” on the “You Have Successfully Setup Your Wireless Adaptor” dialog box on your notebook. Close the dialog box.
